The Project . Curiousa is a UK based company
who design and make hand blown glass lighting, combining traditional manufacturing processes and heritage crafts with a modern aesthetic. .
Initially we were approached to
help with the redesign of the Curiousa website. What emerged was the development of an elegant visual
identity that echoes the quality of
the products they create.
Creative Response . We started with an investigation
into typographic language as the
key to building their visual identity.

'Just enough tradition but with an updated twist' – the new Curiousa logo marque re-invents traditional typefaces with a contemporary approach.

This resonates with the past but also speaks to the future. It’s familiar enough to be friendly, yet different enough to be interesting.

From this starting point, language, tone of voice, a brand tool-kit and website was conceived and developed to showcase their products and business.

The simple elegance of the identity allows it to be applied seemlessly and consistently – maintaining the discerning and unique brand voice that embodies the Curiousa vision.
